We run three trips and no more. Each one has a day-by-day itinerary, a price table by group size, and a filmmaker you can add. Nothing here is a category page hiding twenty variants of the same route.

All three start and finish in Hanoi. All three can be run privately for your group. Prices are per person sharing a twin room; the film package is per group and does not multiply by headcount.
Which one, if you only have room for one
Ha Giang Loop
The one people come to northern Vietnam for. Mountain passes, homestays, and the only trip with enough material for a proper seven-minute film. Hardest on the body, best on camera.
Ha Long and Lan Ha
One night on the water, in the quieter bay next door to the famous one. Easiest trip we run, and the one most affected by weather.
Street food night
Three and a half hours, six stops, on foot and on the back of a bike. The cheapest way to see whether you like how we work.
A common combination is the street food night on your first evening in Hanoi and Ha Giang starting two days later, which leaves a day to sleep off the flight. Booked together we take USD 15 off the street food night.

The right-hand column is the one worth reading. A quote that is twenty per cent cheaper is usually cheaper because something in that column moved into it. The prices page lists the specific ways that is done.
Filming difficulty, trip by trip
Not every trip films equally well, and the price of the package reflects how much usable material a day actually produces.

Before you choose, check the month
Two of these three trips have months that are genuinely worse, and one of them has months where the sea closes and nobody sails at all. Read when to go before you fix your dates, not after.

Tell us your dates and how long you have. We will say which of the three fits, including when the answer is none of them.
What people ask before booking
Why only three tours?
Because we run them ourselves rather than reselling, and three is what a small team can run well with a filmmaker attached. Adding a fourth would mean subcontracting one of them, and the film package falls apart the moment we do not control the day.
Can I combine two of them?
Yes, and most people do. Ha Giang plus Ha Long is a seven-day window including travel and a rest day. Tell us your arrival date and we will lay it out.
Are these private or shared?
Shared by default, with two to twelve guests. Private departures are available on any date for all three trips at the prices shown on the prices page.
Can I book without the film?
Yes. Most bookings are trip-only. The film is an add-on and the trip price does not change if you skip it.
